Inaugural Wine Down 5K

The Inaugural Wine Down 5k took place this past Sunday, May 27th at 6:00 pm at Sanctuary Vineyards in Jarvisburg, NC. This is the first of several races to follow for Outer Banks RunCations.

The course took place on a scenic trail that ran through the vineyards, under trees, by the sound and back to the winery. At the end of the challenging course runners were treated to a fantastic wine and cheese tasting party. 128 contestants participated with event proceeds benefiting Interfaith Community Outreach.
