The Brindley Beach Lighthouse 5k Series

The Brindley Beach Lighthouse 5k Series took place Wednesday, July 25^th 8:00 a.m. through the Historic Village of Corolla Light.   This is the third of four races taking place in Corolla, NC. 149  Runners were treated to the sights of some of Corolla’s favorite attractions along the course, these were The WhaleHead Club, Corolla Light and the splendid Currituck Beach Lighthouse. The course was an out and back run on the walking paths in Corolla.  16 Employees from Brindley Beach Vacation and Resort also took part in the race today.  

Brindley Beach EmployeesAt the end of the course runners were treated to breakfast by Mike Mazza, of Mike and Matt’s Kitchen Adventures and employee of Brindley Beach Vacation and Resort.          The Top Three Females:

1. Nicole Dawson – 19:57
2. Cathy Pugsley – 20:07
3. Melissa Lukas – 22:13

The Top Three Males:

1. Ray Pugsley – 16:24
2. Pete Shaneek – 17:30
3. Skippy McPherson – 17:31
